We don't call him our Culinary Specialist for nothing! Tristan Koole had an epiphany the other day when baking our sub buns for the summer cold menu. These buns come as raw dough and need to be proofed (the final rise of shaped dough before baking). The last few times they did not seem to come out quite right. 🤔Then, Tristan remembered the kitchen at CEC (the kitchen we used last year before our new kitchen was built) was much warmer. So, to improvise he brought in a space heater to create a proofing room at our new kitchen! This was the key! These buns came out fluffy, chewy, soft and fantastic! Nice work, Tristan! 🤓👨‍🍳👨‍🔬🥖🙌
