Happy Monday!! Today we are officially serving local carrot sticks freshly cut from ValleyHUB KVCC and thoughtfully grown by Crisp Country Acres! That is over 200lbs of carrots for the Fruit & Vegetable Bars at our elementary schools! Valley HUB provides a variety of packaging sizes. They even hooked us up with 2oz single serve bags for sack lunches! These carrot sticks will be a staple at KPS next year! 🥕🧡🥕🧡

Last week KPS Food Services celebrated National School Breakfast Week at Northglade Montessori Elementary and Kalamazoo Central High School ! We made tropical smoothies and handed out breakfast activities and crowns to elementary students while dressed in breakfast food costumes! At CHS we set up a new permanant breakfast cart in the hallway so students have easier access to breakfast on the go! Yay! Eat more healthy breakfasts with KPS Food Services!
