The Onyx Society has monthly general body meetings. Sept - May, meetings are virtual. Join us! One of the functions of the Onyx Society is its scholarship fund.

The Onyx Society was established in 1989 and has over 250 active members. Its goal is to strengthen the bond among African-American alumni of Western Michigan University. Membership is open to anyone who is a current member of the Alumni Association. It was established to help with the rising costs of education and is available to current students at Western.
