Help your student approach testing with confidence!

Keep Perspective: Remind them that a test score is just one measurement of their abilities. Their worth is not tied to the results.
Manage Anxiety: If they're nervous, practice simple relaxation techniques like deep breathing.
Encourage Effort: Praise their dedication and effort rather than focusing solely on the final score. This reinforces a growth mindset.

๐Ÿšฉ Friday, March 27: All district buildings are CLOSED.
๐Ÿ–๏ธ March 30 โ€“ April 3: All schools are CLOSED for Spring Break.
๐Ÿข Administrative Building: Will remain OPEN Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. โ€“ 4 p.m.

We hope all of our students and staff have a safe and relaxing break! We look forward to seeing everyone back in class on Monday, April 6.

Please note that all Kalamazoo Public Schools buildings will be closed this Friday, March 27. Spring Break will officially follow from March 30 through April 3.

Tomorrow, 42 KPS students will represent their schools at the Kalamazoo Regional Spelling, which will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Chenery Auditorium. The winner of the Regional Spelling Bee will be provided with the opportunity to go on to the SCRIPPS National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., in late May. We are so proud of all our spellers! Best of luck tomorrow!

To support our students observing Ramadan, KPS Food Service is offering take-home meal packs. Each pack includes 1 breakfast and 1 lunch to be enjoyed after sundown.
