This Tuesday, March 4th at 7:00 PM, our boys battle Michigan Lutheran in the Regional Finals at Trinity Christian High School!

We’re MARCHIN’ ON in this March Madness run, and we need EVERYONE in the stands rocking GREEN! Let’s bring the energy, turn up the noise, and push our squad to the next round!

“By any means necessary.” ✊🏾 Malcolm X stood for Black pride, self-determination, and justice. His words and actions continue to inspire generations to stand up and speak out.

Day 3 of 28 we are honoring Dr. Maya Angelou. She was a poet, author, and activist whose words continue to inspire people all over the world. Her life was filled with struggles, but she rose each time, teaching us that we can overcome any hardship. Angelou’s poem “Still I Rise” speaks to the strength that lies within all of us to rise above our challenges and continue moving forward. At Phoenix High School, we believe in the power of resilience and using our voices to speak truth, just as Maya Angelou did. She showed us that no matter where we come from, we have the ability to rise stronger than ever before.

Day 2 of 28 we are highlighting The Black Panther Party. The Black Panther Party was more than a movement—it was a force for change. From standing against injustice to providing free breakfast for kids, they showed the power of unity and action. Their legacy reminds us that when we take care of our communities, we rise together.

February marks the start of Black History Month, a time to honor the trailblazers who fought for freedom, equality, and progress. For the next 28 days, we will highlight leaders, activists, and visionaries who have shaped our history and continue to inspire future generations. Join us as we celebrate their legacy and impact! ✊🏾
