For our final student feature, we meet recent graduate Linnea! She has been accepted to the Munson Hospital Critical Care Nurse Residence Program in Traverse City. When asked what she loves about our Nursing program:
"There are so many unique parts of the school and one of them being that it is a holistic nursing program. I love this because during my years in this school I was taught how to care for people past their diagnosis and incorporate ways to care for them mentally, socially and spiritually. Not only did I learn more about holistic care, I noticed our professors incorporating similar things in the way they teach us. Professors in the Bronson School of Nursing challenge us to have extensive knowledge academically while also ensuring that we are cared for socially, mentally and outside of the classroom. The school taught us how to be holistic nurses while being holistic and it is something I will always carry with me."

For our next student feature, let's meet Mackenzie VanSickle!
"I was drawn to the world of nursing because I've always wanted to help others beyond words of encouragement. I've seen first hand how simply holding someone's hand during a medical treatment or being next to them in times of stress can provide such a comfort. During this pandemic I’ve seen the vast benefits of empathy and hope one day to be as impactful. The Bronson School of Nursing encompasses these traits and I am so proud to represent our amazing program."
