Kalama Little Rascals Co-op Preschool Little Rascal's Preschool is a parent involved, co-op preschool located in Kalama, WA. Teacher Jenn Students are allowed to start mid year if space is available.

Little Rascal's Preschool is a cooperative style preschool located in Kalama, WA. Two classes are hosted including a 3-4 year old class two days a week and a 4-5 year old class three days a week. Each session is 2-2.5 hours long. Children are provided with an environment that promotes optimum learning through a variety of developmentally appropriate hands-on experiences. Students can explore ideas

and concepts that are real for the child. The children are encouraged to explore learning materials, experiment and practice social-emotional, cognitive, physical/motor and moral skills. At Little Rascals we refer to this method of a child-centered approach to learning as "play-based learning." Class sizes are kept small to promote more one on one time. Activities include field trips, art projects, snack time, group activities, and individual projects. Tuition is kept low by using "parent co-ops" to assist Teacher Rebecca with each session. Each parent is responsible for assisting with two classes per month. Pre-school age is a stage of wonder, curiosity and discovery. Preschoolers are learning language, physical skills, and social skills, as they are becoming an independent person preparing for Kindergarten. Come join us in that journey with your child.
