Exciting announcement for the future of 'Aikahi keiki!

ʻAikahi Elementary has been awarded more than $9 million in federal funding for a new Student Sports and Performance Pavilion. We have an opportunity for a new space that will bring courts, a covered pavilion, a performance stage, a walking path, accessible facilities, and more to our school and community.

The federal funding can cover the project’s major construction costs, but it cannot cover design, permitting, or other essential pre-construction work. We need our community’s help to raise the funds needed to move the project toward construction.

Our 4th graders explored Moku Koʻolaupoko to see how the Koʻolau volcano formed our side of Oʻahu! 🌋✨ They identified rocks, listened to native moʻolelo, and discovered how erosion shapes our island today. 🪨🍃
