Many Christians genuinely love the Lord and want to live by faith, but are frustrated by the discord between what they think should-be and the reality of their Christian walk. A dull sense of ache, shame and guilt, broken relationships and a joyless life are the common experiences of many believers and can make them feel hopeless and depressed and even bring a downfall.
Foundations for Biblical Counseling (FBC) School can help you face the deeper matters of your heart. Its main purpose is to equip believers to guide people into a wholeness, freedom and joyful relationships with God and others. FBC sets the stage for the Holy Spirit to reveal His truths to students and teach how to look deeper into (1) their past pains and hurts, (2) the relationship between thoughts, beliefs, emotions and behavior, and (3) relational patterns. It is more than healing their pains and hurts; it is fulfilling the completed work of the cross--their fully redeemed identity in Jesus Christ as the children of our heavenly Father. FBC is about equipping believers for ministry to bring this healing and redeeming work of the Lord to the nations.
FBC School consists of a 12-week lecture phase followed by 12-week outreach.
John Calvin said, "To know yourself is to know God". FBC can benefit anyone who is pursuing God. You will come face to face with the Wounded Healer in your own journey [Isaiah 53:5] and become a wounded healer yourself.
