Kahului Baptist Church

On April 22, 1945, the First Baptist Church of Kahului was organized. On July 15, 1945, the name was changed to Kahului Baptist Church.

After meeting in various locations throughout Maui, including the Young Men’s Buddhist Hall, a missionary’s residence in Wailuku, three buildings in Naska (near Kanaha), the present building located on Puunene Avenue was dedicated on December 15, 1951.
