Now that our students are home and catching up on some well-earned rest, we wanted to share a few more highlights from their incredible experience at the Washington FFA Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.!
Throughout the week, students participated in the Live to Serve program, which focuses on leadership development, personal growth, service, and civic engagement. They attended interactive workshops and leadership sessions designed to help them strengthen communication skills, build confidence, develop teamwork, and explore ways to make a positive impact in their schools and communities.
In addition to the conference sessions, students had the opportunity to experience some of our nation's most iconic landmarks and museums, including Arlington National Cemetery, the Smithsonian museums, and many historic sites throughout Washington, D.C. These experiences brought history, leadership, and service to life in a meaningful way.
The Washington FFA Leadership Conference challenges students to think beyond themselves, discover their leadership potential, and return home inspired to serve others. We are proud of how our students represented Kahlotus FFA, embraced new experiences, and made the most of this unforgettable opportunity.
