❤️💙 MEMBERSHIP MONDAY | We’re All Connected 💙❤️
It’s Homecoming Week at the Flagship! 🏈
And if you look around Northwest this week, you’ll see PTSA members EVERYWHERE.
You’ll find some supporting Football Booster activities. 🏈
Some participating in the Homecoming Parade. 🎉
Some partnering with Student Council to help transform the school for the Homecoming Dance.💐
Others are supporting their own clubs, teams, programs and organizations🏃🏽 ⚾️🏐🎭🏀🎾🏌️
And our membership reaches even further than you might realize.
Our PTSA isn’t made up only of parents, teachers and students.
❤️ We have members working in our Student Union.
💙 Members who help maintain our campus.
❤️ Staff members working in the front office and behind the scenes.
💙 Families and community members supporting Northwest in countless other ways.
And here’s the important part:
PTSA doesn’t have to sponsor something for PTSA to be part of it.
Because PTSA isn’t simply a collection of programs and events.
We’re all connected by what matters to us.
People who belong to different teams.
Different clubs.
Different departments.
Different booster organizations.
Different parts of our community.
And PTSA can be the connective tissue that brings all of those pieces together. 🤝
Our goal isn’t to compete with the incredible organizations already serving Northwest. It’s to connect them, support them, celebrate them and strengthen the community around all of our Texans.
That’s what membership can look like at the high-school level.
You don’t have to choose between being a football parent, band parent, theatre parent, StuCo student, teacher, cafeteria employee, maintenance team member—or a PTSA member.
The more corners of Northwest represented within our membership, the stronger the connections between them become.
This Homecoming Week, we’re especially proud to see so many different parts of our Flagship community coming together.
Because we may wear different hats…
❤️💙 But we’re all Texans at heart,
Stronger Together. Better Together.
