Shoutout to another Hero of the Hallway - Top Dog, David Biggs! 🐾

David has been a dedicated Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer at Kay Granger Elementary and Tidwell Middle School for over 7 years! He consistently goes above and beyond by building meaningful connections with students and staff, dressing up as the Watch D.O.G.S. mascot, George, making improvements around campus, and serving as a constant, reliable presence our school communities can count on.

Thank you, David, for showing up for our kiddos! We really appreciate the time and heart you’ve invested!

It’s not too late for other positive male role models to make a difference. Contact your student’s campus to learn how you can get involved today. You’ll never know how much you’ll love it! 😉🐾

🐺✨ Congratulations to our February Volunteer of the Month, Brianda Jasso! ✨🐺

Seven Hills Elementary mission states, “Together we will accomplish GREATNESS!” and their volunteers are proof of that mission in action.

Principal Kim Blackburn shared that Mrs. Jasso faithfully supports the campus each week and is always willing to jump in wherever help is needed. Her positive attitude, reliability, and servant heart truly embody what it means to be part of the Wolf Pack.

Thank you, Mrs. Jasso, for the time, energy, and heart you pour into Seven Hills! 💙🐺

Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting our Angel Tree volunteers at Byron Bistro. These amazing volunteers (a few not pictured!) showed up nearly every single day to Santa's Workshop to help receive, process, and organize donations. This program truly runs because of their dedication and heart, and we are so grateful for each of them!

The service at Byron Bistro was 1000/10! The students were professional, attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for taking such great care of our volunteers and helping us celebrate them in such a special way!

Not all heroes wear capes… some wear Watch D.O.G.S. shirts 🐾

Shoutout to Brian McLendon, a dedicated Watch D.O.G. who started volunteering at Granger ES and is now serving at Tidwell Middle School! He’s always willing to jump in — even if it’s just for a few minutes to help with morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up.

As Brian shared, having a strong male presence on campus matters — especially at the middle school level. Representation, mentorship, and simply showing up can make a lasting impact.

We still have THREE months left in the school year, and it’s not too late to get involved! Join the Watch D.O.G.S. pack today and help make a difference. 🐶

We’re still thinking about our amazing bookmark winners, Adeline Meling (Sendera Ranch Elementary) and Briannah Hang (Worthington Middle School - Northwest ISD - School Sponsored)

They did such an incredible job in the Northwest Reads Bookmark Contest. Thanks to the Northwest ISD Education Foundation, Inc., every elementary and middle school campus received extra bookmarks featuring their designs for the library.

We love celebrating our talented students!

🌟 Congratulations to January's Volunteer of the Month - Brittany White🌟

Brittany serves as PTA Board President and is also a regular Guest Educator at Hughes. She is not only an amazing parent but a true leader within the Hughes community.

According to Principal Nathan Roub, Brittany cares deeply about the entire school community and all students and families. In addition to leading the PTA, she is a consistent and dedicated volunteer on campus. She helped lead a teddy bear drive, donated food for the Thanksgiving meal drive, and partners with the school to ensure every family feels supported. She also volunteers weekly to assist the librarian with shelving books.

Her kindness, hard work, and heart for service make a lasting impact. Hughes Elementary School is an amazing place to be because of community partners like Brittany.

Thank you, Brittany, for your leadership and dedication to the Hughes family!
