Texans take on Camp Copass 🏕️

Yesterday, 12 of our first year FFA members attended the Area V Greenhand Camp in Denton! Throughout the day, our greenhand students met members, district, area, and state officers while participating in ice breaker stations and team building activities. What a great way to kick off these Texans’ first year in FFA 🚀

Shout out to our very own Gabee Dattola, who presented Northwest FFA as this year’s District VI officer and assisted with workshop facilitation!

Yesterday a work crew from Atmos Energy, Victor Alvarado and David Jalvos stopped to talk to our 5th hour Agriculture Fabrications class. It was a great opportunity for our students to catch a quick glance at another career path they can take in the future! Thank you taking the time.

Our officer team, FFA members, and agriculture science teachers knocked it out of the park today! The annual NHS Agriculture Department first pay day teacher appreciation breakfast started dark and early, as the blackstone griddles were fired up before 5 AM 🍳

🌟 Thank you to our wonderful Northwest High School staff that keep our students safe and classrooms conducive, day after day!

🌟 Thank you to our agriculture science teachers for believing in our future and the future of agriculture!

🌟 Thank you to our Northwest FFA members for waking up early and helping us make this a success!

Importantly, thank you Seitz Fundraising for supporting this event each year. Now let’s keep the momentum rolling as we move past our first week of Seitz & Cowpuncher Coffee Fundraising, already exceeding expectations towards our goal 🚀

2 SCHOOL DAY, UNTIL SEITZ LANDS IN JUSTIN 🛬

Here today, we introduce our 2026-2027 Northwest FFA Vice President, Jensen Taylor 🌾🚜

Hey y’all! My name is Jensen Taylor, and I am honored to serve as your Northwest FFA Vice President for my senior year. Over the past four years, FFA has given me incredible leadership opportunities, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable memories, whether I was showing goats, serving our community, or competing in events like Milk Quality and Ag Advocacy. Serving as an officer has been one of my greatest blessings, helping me grow into a more confident leader while serving our chapter. I am so excited for the year ahead and look forward to connecting with each of you!
