✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Schools Network meeting! A special shoutout to our incredible student leaders from Glen Avon Elementary and Pacific Avenue Academy of Music 🎶👏

Our students shared powerful examples of student voice and leadership through the PAL (Peer Assistance Leadership) program happening across many of our Jurupa Elementary campuses. Their leadership inspired families, school staff, and community partners in attendance 💬🌟

As always, everyone is welcome as we come together to connect and collaborate.

We’re halfway through our 6-week series, and our families are learning, connecting, and feeling more empowered than ever! 💪

So far, parents have explored topics like schedules, self-regulation, ParentSquare, ClassDojo, and even heard from JUSD families sharing personal testimonials on why involvement matters. ❤️

📍 Join us Fridays at Glen Avon or Mission Bell, and Wednesdays for our midweek session at PICO.

This fall, we’ve got something for everyone:

👨‍👩‍👧 Elementary Families – Join our 6-week Parent University course! Attend 5+ sessions and celebrate with a special family graduation 🎓. Learn tools to support your child’s educational journey.

🎓 Secondary Families – Parent University: College Edition! Perfect for families preparing students for success after high school. Each week, a college partner will share valuable admissions info. Sessions will be livestreamed & recorded for your convenience.

🌎 Workshops are happening at sites across the district to support our entire community—you can attend any location that works best for your schedule, no matter your homeschool.

🗓 Sessions begin in October – check flyers for dates, times, and locations. No registration required—just come and join us!

🎓 Familias de Secundaria – ¡Parent University: Edición Universitaria! Perfecto para familias que se están preparando para el éxito después de la preparatoria. Cada semana, un socio universitario compartirá información valiosa sobre el proceso de admisión. Las sesiones serán transmitidas en vivo y grabadas para su conveniencia.

🌎 Los talleres se llevarán a cabo en diferentes escuelas del distrito para apoyar a toda nuestra comunidad—pueden asistir a la sede que mejor se ajuste a su horario, sin importar cuál sea la escuela de sus hijos.
