The JUSD Family Reading Challenge is back for its fourth year, and we’re so excited to see our students reading. So far, JUSD readers have logged an incredible 777,258 minutes read! Our new reading mascot, Rita Saurus, enjoyed visiting sites to celebrate our Back-to-School Reading Challenge winners.

The top readers in the Back-to-School Reading Challenge are:

🥳Indian Hills Elementary had the most individual participants with 30 students logging minutes.

This special garden will honor the spirit of service, unity, and kindness while creating a beautiful outdoor learning space for our students and families.

Join us as we begin planning our Community Garden of Service and Remembrance in honor of 9/11 Day.

We invite all West Riverside parents and guardians to help us share ideas and plan this meaningful project. Everyone is welcome!

Woodcraft Rangers is available at Troth St. and West Riverside.

Programs are available Monday through Friday from dismissal to 6 PM.
