JUSD’s Senior Spotlight highlights some of our remarkable graduating seniors of 2026. Today we are featuring:

Ivana Correa, Salutatorian, Jurupa Valley High School 🐾

🌟Future plans: Ivana will attend the University of California, Los Angeles, and major in public affairs. She hopes to attend law school and then become either a lawyer or policymaker.
🌟 GPA: 4.5
🌟 Biggest inspiration: Her parents inspire her to work hard and build a life she desires for herself. Their unconditional support is a motivation for her to succeed.
🌟Favorite high school memory: All the senior activities because they made her look back on how much she and her friends grew over the last four years.
🌟Extracurriculars: President/Co-Founder of Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (M.E.Ch.A), Link Crew, varsity soccer and statistics, and volunteered in various leadership programs outside of school
🌟Proudest high school achievement: Helping start M.E.Ch.A., one of the largest clubs on campus, and watching students proudly display their culture

Vincent Flores, Valedictorian, Jurupa Valley High School 🐾

🌟Future plans: Vincent plans to take a year off to travel before attending a university as a neuroscience major. He also intends to attend medical school afterwards to become an anesthesiologist.
🌟 GPA: 4.6
🌟 Biggest inspiration: Vincent’s parents and grandma
🌟Favorite high school memory: Spending time with friends during class and lunch
🌟Extracurriculars: Esports
🌟Proudest high school achievement: Recovering his class rank, he was formerly ranked 122nd

For the second consecutive year, Jurupa Unified has the greatest number of students who have earned the Seal of Biliteracy in more than one language in addition to English. We are proud that 9 of the 36 students countywide are from JUSD!
