This Business Class uses a unique approach in the field of business for children and youth entrepreneurship. In our program students hone their observation skills, tap into their talents, and unlock their creativity to identify problems and solutions. Beyond teaching business, the goal of our program is to empower students to think entrepreneurial by identifying opportunities and challenging assum

The Future Starts Today, at Jerry Thomas Elementary

When we started our Business Class, the idea was to teach business basics to the curious kids. Today, after only 3 classes, we can admit that we actually learn from each other and grow together. Kids are excited and every time we have a new one joining us.

We are taught to believe that we, adults, know (almost) everything and our kids have to look up to us. The reality though is that today, thanks to the technology, our kids can teach us a lot if we give them an opportunity to think, create and speak up. Not to think what we want them to, but rather to come up with the real solutions to the real problems.

It is absolutely astounding to see how fresh, inexperienced minds can create, brainstorm and be involved. Surprisingly enough, kids are tired of their gadgets and they appreciate some creativity time.

We would like to thank all the parents who gave their kids a chance to start building their own future. The one where they will feel needed and rewarded, the one they will enjoy and positively affect, and the one where we could just sit and relax knowing that the future is in very capable hands. It doesn't start after college; in the 21st century future starts at the elementary school.

Imagination + Problem to Solve = Invention!

British designer and inventor Dominic Wilcox asked over 450 children across Sunderland and South Tyneside, UK, to come up with ideas for inventions. Then, he chose around 60 invention drawings of 600 submitted and presented them to local makers that could help with manufacturing.

After a 5-min "no adults allowed" meeting kids decided to accept our new member of the team! That's how they did it!!! 🎉...
