Today we celebrated Dr. Maria Montessori’s birthday! 🌿💛

Each classroom honored her in their own special way, through songs, activities, and learning more about her life and work.

Her vision of seeing children as capable, independent, and full of potential began with the first Casa dei Bambini and has continued to grow and inspire Montessori communities around the world. 🌱

We are so grateful to be part of that vision and to see it come to life every day through the children we work with.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Maria Montessori! ✨

🎨✨ Recap of a beautiful evening celebrating the creativity and talent of our students at the Turtle River Montessori Art Exhibition!

From Redwood’s watercolor bird studies and seasonal landscapes, to our Lower Elementary self-portrait gallery, to Cedar & Sequoia’s vibrant Romero Britto-inspired portraits: every piece reflected imagination, individuality, and joy.

Thank you to our incredible art teachers, Ms Nancy Kelly and Kristy Gaza, students, and families for making the evening so special. We are so proud of the artistic growth and creativity that filled our halls! 🖼️✨

Please welcome our Principal for the Day, Charleigh! 👩‍💼🌟

Charleigh had such a fun and exciting day taking on important responsibilities around the school. She helped run a special petting zoo experience for our toddler classes 🐰🐥 and made sure everything was going smoothly for our youngest students.

She also enjoyed a very special lunch in the office where she invited two friends to join her 🍴💕

One of the funniest moments of the day was when Charleigh challenged Ms. Alyssa to show off her gymnastics abilities alongside her friends 🤸‍♀️

We loved seeing Charleigh’s confidence and excitement shine throughout the day. She truly made the most of her time as principal.

To close out Teacher Appreciation Week, we asked our East Campus students a simple question: “How would you describe your teacher?”

Their answers were honest, sweet, funny, and full of love. 💛

From the way they see care, patience, and kindness every day, it’s clear just how much our teachers mean to them.

A beautiful reminder of the impact our educators have in our classrooms each day 🍎

During the week, our East Campus celebrated and honored all the incredible moms with our annual Mother’s Day Tea Party 💐🫖

Our classrooms were filled with sweet smiles, warm hugs, laughter, and special memories shared between mothers and their little ones.

Thank you to all the amazing moms who joined us and made this tradition so special 🌸✨
