As I was cleaning off some old jump drives I found this gem. Our kids have grown so much since this video was taken. I enjoyed watching it and thought maybe you would too.

Many people have asked, “Where are the bricks from the front of Juniata Elementary?” They were cleaned up and brought inside for a nice bench by the office of the new preschool. This is a spot that visitors to our building can sit. Please share with anyone you know that is curious.

Please be aware of the road closure for the start of summer school. You will have to come from the north on Adams Central Road rather than using highway 6.

I was just made aware that not everyone who signed up for summer school got a letter a few weeks ago stating that because of the construction schedule we had to postpone summer school a week. Summer school will be July 16-27 for Elementary students who signed up. That letter also stated that we would be able to have it in the new Elementary, however they won’t let us in the building in time. Therefore, we will hold classes at the high school. This is not ideal but it is our only option as of right now. Our summer school staff will do an excellent job teaching your child no matter where it is held. Our plan is to call parents tomorrow morning to inform them of the location change. Thank you for understanding and being patient with us as we transition into the new school.

Juniata Elementary is looking a little different from a week ago. Teachers have been busy packing, purging, and moving. Remodel starts next week.

The last 6th grade class to graduate from Juniata Elementary.

Our last year at Juniata Elementary. It is bittersweet, there are new and exciting times ahead, but we will miss this. These students will be moving to the new elementary in the fall. Juniata Elementary will welcome 95 preschool students as Adan’s Central Early Childhood Center.
