Nominations are now open for AASB's Board of Directors! Serving on the Board means working with fellow board members from across the state on shared challenges and priorities while helping guide AASB’s efforts to support strong local governance and student success. This is your chance to step forward and contribute to the work of strengthening public education across Alaska.

Nomination deadline: October 9, 2026

Nominees must be current members of a local school board in an AASB member district in good standing. Nominations must be supported through formal action of the nominee’s local board.
