At Montessori Borealis, we have a lot of discussion around the importance of Care and Respect. One way that children can show Care and Respect for themselves and the gym environment is by having safe, soft-sole, fulling enclosed shoes on during PE class.

-PE Shoes and Indoor Shoes can be the same pair IF they are appropriate for PE. If your child would like to have crocs for indoor shoes, then they need another athletic-style shoe for PE class.
-Your child's PE teacher has extra PE shoes available if needed, please just email [email protected] and include your child's shoe size.
-If your family has extra athletic shoes that your children have out-grown, please consider donating them to the Montessori PE Shoe Bin!
