Attention Bakers! JAMM will be hosting a bake sale at the premier of Kutulagaaw: The Tlingit-Russian Battles, at Thunder Mountain Middle School Sept. 11-13 and Sept. 18-20.
We are seeking individually wrapped baked goods to sell; donations can be dropped off at Thunder Mountain Middle School on Friday, September 11 or Friday, September 18. Bakers can also email JAMM at [email protected] to arrange a pick up. Please label baked goods and include information regarding nuts and: gluten

Meet JAMM’s new Executive Director, Tammy Iund! 🎶
Tammy is an educator, nonprofit leader, community connector, and firm believer that people thrive when they know they belong. With more than 35 years of experience working alongside children, families, educators, and communities, she’s excited to bring her love of relationships, collaboration, and a good idea (or twelve!) to JAMM.
And yes, the love of music is real—when she’s not working, you may find her behind the microphone as DJ Sweet T, hosting karaoke and reminding everyone that talent is optional, but enthusiasm is not. 🎤
Tammy can’t wait to get to know the JAMM family and the Juneau community!

Last year JAMM served 507 Juneau youth from kindergarten-12th grade, with year round programming both in-school and after-school. We are thankful for our amazing staff, dedicated board, community partnerships, and young musicians.

JAMM’s Chamber Music Camp has brought together some of Juneau’s finest young string and wind players for a week of music making at Chapel by the Lake this week.
Join us for a free camp concert featuring classic and contemporary pieces for small ensembles this Friday 6pm at Chapel by the Lake.

JAMM thanks our local business sponsor, Hecla Greens Creek, for making this camp possible. We also thank the Juneau Symphony for providing airfare for two out-of-town symphony members who have provided insightful coaching: Bob Olsen and Natalie Brejcha.
