Join us next Tuesday at Centennial Hall to meet members of the Legislature and welcome them back to Alaska’s Capital City.

For 41 years, the Juneau community has come together to welcome our legislators back to the Capital City. This event wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our financial contributors, gift donors, and the organizations that help make it happen. A huge thank you to everyone who played a role in continuing this long-standing tradition of hospitality and connection. We appreciate you!

Capital Students, Capitol Visits. Exploring 3 branches of government.

Juneau 8th grade students spent a day at the Capitol, State Office Building and Dimond Courthouse learning about the branches of state government. Students met with Legislators, Governor, Lt. Governor and/or staff. After lunch, students participated with judges, volunteer attorneys and staff in a mock arraignment to familiarize them with the judicial process.

🥳The Alaska Committee is now planning for the 41st Annual Community Welcome Reception for legislators and staff of the 2025 Alaska State Legislature. We are hosting this Reception at Centennial Hall.🥳

Our plan is to assemble gift bags as we have done in previous years along with hosting a welcome event. We ask that you consider contributing either money or an item for the gift bag.
