The Massage Therapy Lead Instructor is responsible for the smooth operation of the school of Massage. This includes recruitment and enrollment, scheduling of classes and instructors, teaching, ensuring that the state required curriculum is followed and being a point of contact for student and client concerns.

Duties include:
Promoting the school and interviewing potential students and answering questions regarding the program.
Scheduling class start dates, class topics, regular instructors and guest instructors. Identifying
and recruiting regular and guest instructors.
Teaching the state mandated curriculum out of the provided textbook while following the class descriptions in the Academy catalog.
Tracking / inputting student hours and grades.
Addressing student concerns about grades, conflicts and personal challenges.
Determining when a student is ready to serve the public and assigning clients/ scheduling
treatment rooms.
Minimum qualifications:
2 year as a licensed massage therapist
Holds or can obtain an Alaska license
Organized

Congratulations to Julie (L) and Crystal (R) on graduating from the Esthetics Program!!! Crystal will be working at Charisma Salon and Esthetics while Julie is staying at the Academy to work and receive advanced training. We also have two newer students, Dana and Roni.
