Illuminated! Mid-day progress. Lots of paint colors to choose from! Showtime! Skyline Grange, PDX Beautiful Blues Lots of new classes are on the upcoming schedule! Both Barn Quilt Painting classes and a Color Wheel Footstool class will happen this Spring. I'm excited to be on the road again, and you know I love a project! So, putting together these classes with the supplies needed, and organizing the classes in a way that everyone can be successful is what I do best....

So many fun classes coming up all around the state of Oregon! I hope you'll find one that fits your location and schedule. As I always say, "See you at the next party!"

A New York Minute! is a printed quilt pattern. It got it's name, due to the fact it can be cut and sewn in a day, easily. It uses the technique of building the borders as block units, which simplifies the construction and speeds up your finish! Choosing a fun stripe, whether simple or organic, gives the quilt a more complex look, without slowing you down. It works so well in a variety of fabric collections. Have fun choosing yours. Walled Garden is a perfect example of building a border element into your blocks! This makes your final construction of the quilt, simply sewing the rows together. No long borders to add that may or may not fit. The border appears as you sew the rows together. Finished size: 80" x 96". Finished block: 8" x 8". Make it in a color scheme, monochromatic or scrappy, your choice! I'd love to see it in a grey-scale.
