📌 Due to the power outage in the area, Junction City High School USD 475 will be postponing its Ninth Grade Transition Day, which was originally scheduled for today. The new date will be Tuesday, June 23 at either 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. or 6-8 p.m.

If you are unable to attend on June 23, please know that there will an additional transition day offered on Tuesday, July 21. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming our incoming freshmen.

📣 Due to the power being out in the area, Geary County Schools USD 475 will NOT have summer school, 21st Century or extended school year programming on Tuesday, June 9.

Earlier in May, students who were eligible with academic and behavioral requirements were able to attend a field trip to Rolling Hills Zoo. Together with JCMS, the Parent Support Group was able to help cover the entire cost of this trip through fundraising and donations.

Their mistake is your gain!! There are soft AND hardcover yearbooks for sale!! $20 for softcover, $25 for hardcover. Please send your student to the main office with cash or check if you missed the yearbook deadline!!

𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: Due to the weather expected in the area late this afternoon, Geary County Schools USD 475 will be dismissing early on Monday, May 18. All after-school activities are canceled.

Please note that Junction City High School USD 475 will be releasing at 1 p.m., while all other schools will release at 1:45 p.m.

Reminder- We only have 5.5 days of school left!! Please remind your students to turn in ALL their library books so they don't get charged for them!!
