St. Xavier School welcomed back alumni on Saturday, May 23rd. Former students came from near and far to be reunited with their classmates at the St. Xavier Alumni Banquet. All had the opportunity to tour campus, attend Mass, and catch up with one other over food, drinks, and yearbooks. Many thanks to local alumni for coordinating the event.

Saying goodbye is bittersweet. Students gathered for yearbook signing, the senior class procession took place in the hallways, the K-12 end of year awards ceremony was held, and a 7-12 grade bowling party was organized to create a few final memories together.

Congratulations to our May teacher of the month Mr. Becker. Parents stated that Mr. Becker is an amazing teacher, making sure that students learn topics in a method that can be easily understood. He shares his expertise of mathematics and general knowledge with students in a way that makes them feel encouraged and excited to learn. Mr. Becker was the leading force behind the success of getting the scholars bowl team to state, investing much of his time over the season to ensure the St. Xavier team reached their tournaments safely and were prepared to compete. Excellent work, Mr. Becker!
Our middle school student of the month is 7th grader Lina N. Teachers say that Lina has grown so much in the one and a half years that she has been at St. Xavier. She has tremendously improved academically and has expanded her involvement in athletics, as well as choir and band. Lina is a person who has overcome obstacles to become who she is today and if she puts her mind to something, she can accomplish it. Nice job, Lina!
Congratulations to Irelyne S., the high school student of the month. Irelyne works to do well in the classroom and is involved in a variety of activities such as FBLA, StuCo, Forensics, choir, band, volleyball, track, and cheer. She has come so far since she arrived at St. Xavier as a 6th grader. Her confidence has grown immensely, and we are looking forward to all her future accomplishments in her academic career. Way to go, Irelyne!
