Camp Stevens Camp Stevens is a summer camp, retreat center, and outdoor education center on 256-acres in Julian, CA

Whether you are visiting Camp Stevens with a retreat group, as a camper during one of our summer programs, as an environmental education student, or during one of our many family camps or workshops, we hope to make your experience inspiring and enriching in a number of ways. We believe that humans living in healthy community and in harmony with the natural world are capable of creating great beauty, joy, and celebration.

Session 4 is our International Odyssey week, where we do extra ropes course, extra overnights, and a whole extra day at camp joined by 31 campers from the Rikkyo School in Japan! Our theme for the week is “Surf’s Up! Ride the Waves”. 🏄 🌊 🏝️

Our group names for the week are: The Krusty Krabbers, Cowabunga Cows, Happy Salmon, Heat Wave Heroes, and Professional Pufferfish Pirates.

Session 2 is everything and more. The mid day heat is easily beat by misters, shade, and diving board cannonballs. Our cooler mornings and evenings are spent goat hiking, mulberry picking, team building, weaving, upper meadow sunset chasing, ropes coursing, cooking out, stargazing, and crafting.
