Juliaetta Elementary School Give-Back Project: Walking for One of Our Own!

Recently, a serious accident struck close to home for one of our JES students.
In their darkest hour, Angel Flight West provided free medical air travel so this family could stay together. ✈️
This Friday, Oct. 16, we are walking to make sure other families get that same lifesaving help.

• 2:00 PM: JES students and staff will walk JES Upper Playground.

• 7:00 PM: We invite everyone to join us at Kendrick Homecoming Football Game (Halftime): Kendrick Tigers and Troy Trojans fans will unite for a halftime lap at Kendrick High School.
Bring $1 to join the walk. If you can't walk, please stand with us for 5 minutes or donate.

Let’s rally together and show Angel Flight West—the massive size of our community's heart.
See you Friday night! 🧡

This walk is being organised by our JES Green Habit House staff and students. Please watch their super cool video on our walk for Angel Flight! 💚

Our new Habit House swag landed today, and our staff and students are now officially too cool for school!
Wearing these matching shirts is a great reminder that at JES, we don't do solo acts, we crush our goals together as a powerhouse team.
Our Habit Houses are where we teach our students how to step up, find their voice, and take charge of their future every single day.
These aren't just new shirts, this is the official uniform of our next generation of leaders!

Did you know we have our very own school garden here at JES, where our students grow fresh fruits and vegetables?
Today, our 3rd graders harvested a batch of juicy grapes they grew themselves! 🍇
With the help of Mrs. Cannon, they turned the fresh harvest into delicious, homemade grape juice for the whole class to enjoy!

Seeing the entire process from planting the seeds to tasting the final product was such a fun, hands-on learning experience.
We are so proud of our little green thumbs!

🍎🍏 Our kindergarten classroom had a BUSHEL of fun last Friday for Johnny Appleseed Day! 🍏🍎

It looked like playtime, but our kindergarteners were doing some major hands-on learning:

• 🔬 Science: Testing if apples sink or float and looking inside them.

• 📊 Math: Counting seeds and graphing their favorite apple flavors.

• 📚 Storytime: Learning the history of Johnny Appleseed.

• 🎨 Crafts: Making apple art.

Who says school can't be one big adventure? Our kindergarteners proved that having fun is the absolute best way to learn! 🍎
