This sweet family has been a part of our learning community since we opened our doors in June of 2024! So thankful they continue to choose us for their students’ learning needs! It’s always a joy to work with such hardworking, respectful, and sweet kiddos! 💕

“This past school year, we enrolled Harper in weekly math and reading tutoring at Growing Minds, and the improvement in her grades was tremendous. Mrs. R. was always so kind, patient, and informative with Harper. She made learning feel less overwhelming and helped Harper build confidence in areas where she struggled.
Our oldest daughter, Julie, also benefited from Growing Minds. She was struggling in some areas of math and wanted extra tutoring before taking the STAAR test. After working with Mrs. McAllister, Julie felt much more confident going into the test. When her results came back, we were absolutely ecstatic to see that her score had improved by 100 points from the previous year! That really showed us how much the extra support helped.
Harper has also been attending the summer camps at Growing Minds since they first opened, and Art Camp has always been her favorite. Over the years, we’ve really watched her artistic side grow and develop. She always looks forward to seeing what new and fun camps Growing Minds offers each summer.
I would highly recommend Growing Minds to anyone looking for tutoring or summer learning programs. All of the teachers do a wonderful job of keeping the activities and tutoring sessions fun, creative, and interesting, which helps the kids stay engaged and actually enjoy learning.
I am especially thankful that Mrs. Hamby started Growing Minds for our community. She puts so much of her love, teaching experience, and creativity into building the program. Every summer, there is always a new camp for the kids to look forward to. It keeps my kids busy, learning, and having fun during the summer, while also giving me a couple of hours to myself or time to get errands done. It truly has been such a wonderful resource for our family and our community.”

“I love Art Camp because I get to make fun and cool crafts with Mrs. Jamie. She taught me different ways to draw and paint using textures and shapes. My favorite was making paper flowers! Cookie Creations was also fun because I got to decorate and eat my cookies. They were so delicious! 😋 When I went to tutoring, my teacher was nice and told me ‘Good job!’ when I got answers right. It made me feel good and happy and helped me a lot.”
