CMC is currently in the process of developing our next Education Master Plan (EMP). This critical planning process will chart the course of the college for the next five years. The purpose of the current survey is to gather input from members of the Morongo Basin community for the development of the EMP. The goal of the survey is to better understand what CMC is doing well and what we can do better, from the perspective of its community members. We are committed to making sure that CMC is doing all it can to meet the educational needs of the communities it serves.

We would appreciate if you are able to take a few moments to share your opinions with us. The survey will be open Monday February 8 through February 22, 2021. So that responses are considered in our planning, please respond to the survey by Monday February 22, 2021. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.

This semester, both MUSD students along with Adult Learners are participating in the Pharmacy Clerk course offered through the Academy of College and Career Excellence.

The Pharmacy Clerk is program, is a dual-purpose course, serving as an introduction to Pharmacy Technician and providing the foundation for most careers in Pharmacology.

Students who complete the Pharmacy Clerk course, will acquire the basic knowledge and skills necessary to be employed as a Pharmacy Assistant clerk. Students are introduced to the roles, responsibilities, and educational requirements for a career in pharmacology, while acquiring basic knowledge in HIPAA regulations, infection control, medical terminology, and diseases as it relates to pharmacology.

Did you know that the MUSD Academy of College and Career Excellence offers career technical education classes that are free and open to the public?

One of those course, is the 911 Dispatcher course. This course provides an overview of the eligibility and training standards required for 9-1-1-Communications. Students in the course gain practical experience in the area of law enforcement communications, telephone/technology procedures, regulations and reports for missing persons, domestic abuse, child and elder abuse, hate crimes as well as communications responsibility related to community policing and cultural diversity.
