Hello Jordan Juniors JO Volleyball Families,
COVID-19 has certainly presented barriers to many of our social functions, school and sporting events, and JO Volleyball is no exception. With careful consideration given over several months, the Jordan Juniors JO Volleyball Board has decided that it is unable to host a 2021 JO Season and provide the full support necessary to provide a positive experience for players, coaches and parents. There were multiple factors tied to this difficult decision, including increased costs, inability for other JO clubs to host tournaments, and difficulty in obtaining experienced coaches. In addition, we continue to pursue an individual to take on the role of Program Director, as Sara is growing her family with the addition of her third child in January. If you know of any individuals passionate about creating opportunities and volleyball programs within our community, please do let us know, this is a paid position. We are hopeful that over the next several months we will be able to proactively work toward a plan to bring a program back to the community for the 2021/2022 season.
There are still options for Jordan youth volleyball players to participate in bigger clubs in surrounding communities. A few are listed here for you to check out if you are interested:

The Jordan Juniors JO Volleyball Program is pursuing options for our youth athletes to stay connected with volleyball in Jordan at a non-competitive level (such as skills workshops). We will communicate these opportunities as they are developed.
