Ready to kick off the 2026/27 school year at Mandy’s Minis!

One of our favorite themes for our Tot School and a send off for our School Age kiddos🧡

We love a reason to make T-shirts around here, because the memories around them simply are spectacular.

It may be more than a month away, but we made sure our annual Jordan Homecoming shirts were ready for back to school with some added extras this year to really make it special ❤️🧡

My heart is incredibly heavy today.

Hearing about the tragedy that occurred at a childcare home not far from our community has shaken me deeply. Knowing that six other little children were inside that home when it happened is something I simply cannot stop thinking about.

As a childcare provider, these children aren’t just names on my enrollment list. Many of them have been in my arms since they were babies. I’ve rocked them, wiped their tears, celebrated their milestones, kissed their owies, listened to their stories and watched them grow into the amazing little people they are becoming. They become part of my family.

And because of that, I cannot begin to imagine what those six little ones are feeling or trying to understand right now. My heart aches for them, for their families, and for everyone whose lives have been forever changed. I hope those children are surrounded by an incredible amount of love, patience, comfort and support in the days, weeks and months ahead. ❤️

To my Mandy’s Minis families, I also want you to know something.

Your children are safe here. They are deeply loved here.

I know the tremendous amount of trust it takes to leave the most important person in your world in someone else’s care each day. I never take that trust lightly. Your children’s safety, happiness and well-being will always be my highest priority.

Today I’m looking at my little crew a little differently. I’m soaking up the giggles a little more. Giving an extra hug. Holding them a little tighter.

Because these little people are incredibly precious.

To every family affected by this unimaginable tragedy, my heart is with you. And to the little ones in my care — you are safe, you are loved, and I will always do everything I can to protect the little hearts entrusted to me. ❤️

Today, we hug a little tighter.
We love a little deeper.
And we hold onto each other a little closer. 🤍

Behavior is communication. ❤️

It’s easy to see a child’s challenging behavior and assume they’re simply “being naughty.” But more often than not, there’s so much more beneath the surface.

A child may be tired, overwhelmed, anxious, seeking connection, working through big emotions, or simply navigating a stage of development. As adults, we have the opportunity to look beyond the behavior and ask, “What is this child trying to tell me?”

At Mandy’s Minis Childcare, I believe every child deserves patience, kindness, compassion, and understanding. My role isn’t just to supervise children—it’s to support them, guide them, help them feel safe, and meet them where they are.

When children feel seen, heard, and loved, they learn to regulate, grow, and thrive.

Let’s choose connection over correction whenever we can. 💜
