This week we’re saying goodbye to one of our little friends as he heads off to his next adventure ❤️ We’re so proud of how much he’s grown, and we’ll miss his laughter and energy around the classroom.

All of his daycare friends are wishing him the best, and Ms. Cece is sending him off with lots of love and big hugs.
Once part of our family, always part of our family 💛

Journie is matching her colors🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣

Color matching does way more than just keep kids busy it quietly builds a bunch of early learning skills at once:

1. Builds visual discrimination
They learn to notice similarities and differences, which is the same skill they’ll need for reading letters and numbers later on.

2. Strengthens vocabulary
Naming and matching colors gives them words to describe what they see. That boosts language and communication.

3. Pre-math foundations
Sorting and grouping by color teaches classification a core math concept they’ll use for counting, patterns, and problem-solving.

4. Fine motor practice
Whether it’s moving blocks, cards, or toys by color, they’re using their hands with intention and control.

5. Focus and memory
Matching games require attention, recall, and following directions — all key for classroom readiness.

6. Confidence and independence
It’s an easy “I can do it!” task that builds success early, which keeps them engaged in future learning.

If you’re using it in a classroom setting, it’s not just “fun time” it’s legit brain work disguised as play.

Today’s lesson was all about feelings! 🥰😡😢😎
Our preschoolers practiced identifying emotions through faces, stories, and role play — because understanding how we feel (and how others feel) is a big part of growing up.

Learning to say “I’m sad,” “I’m frustrated,” or “I’m excited!” helps kids communicate instead of melting down and that’s a win for everyone. 👏
