Had a special visitor for our Christmas party today.

Santa enlisted the Joppatowne Lions Club to take him out and about this afternoon to make his final rounds visiting children around Harford County before Christmas arrives.

First stop was the J-Bug’s Day Care off Old Mountain Rd. in Joppa where Santa actually met a pint size little girl who wanted no less than an Ice Cream truck and an ambulance! We can only guess she wanted an ambulance on standby when she over indulged? Then there was the young fella who wanted one of every animal! Sure hope Mom and Dad have a big yard! A couple of the tiniest of the tots wanted nothing to do with Santa, but one finally made her way over and played a bit of take-away with him…

The next stop was the Boys and Girls Club of Bel Air. Invited by one of our own members to come and visit with the boys and girls, join in sing-alongs and read Christmas stories.

To describe these wonderful little children as rambunctious would be an understatement!

They couldn’t wait to talk to Santa and didn’t want to let him go! I wonder if Santa can remember the enormous list of toys and gadgets all of the children asked for. Santa and all of the children he visited with had a great time today…
