Good nutrition doesn't take a summer break! Children and teens 18 years old and younger can enjoy FREE nutritious meals this summer at these Joplin School Locations:

May 27 - July 3
Kelsey Norman Elementary: Breakfast 7:30-8:30am, Lunch 11am-12pm

June 1 - June 30
JHS: Breakfast 8-9am, Lunch 11:30am-12:30pm
East Middle, Soaring Heights, Dover Hill, Irving: Breakfast 7:30-8:30am, Lunch 11am-12pm

July 5 - Aug. 14
Stapleton: Lunch only 11am-12pm

July 6 - Aug. 7
Joplin Public Library: Sack lunch from 11am to 11:30am or while supplies last.

All meals must be eaten on site. All are welcome, you do not need to attend Joplin Schools to participate!

Cody is someone that we always look forward to seeing! He is always ready with a smile, even with his super busy workload!"

Today is National Registered Dietitian Day! Joplin Schools employs a Registered Dietitian to help students, families and cafeteria managers navigate food allergies and feeding issues. If your child has a need for meal modification due to allergy or disability, make sure you have a completed meal modification form on file. Forms can be found at Joplinschools.org under the Food and Nutrition Services tab.

We celebrated National School Breakfast week by having a decorating contest for our cafeteria staff, and boy did they deliver! Joplin Early Childhood took home the top prize. So cute and creative!
