The Bean/Garrett relationship! Verbal Bean and William J. Garrett was the best of friends! During the early 1950s, they attended church together in Orange, Texas. They were prayer partners and friends. This is their story!

It was at his Bethel Bible School in Topeka, Kansas on January 1, 1901 that the baptism of the Holy Ghost was poured out - marking the beginning of the Apostolic Faith Movement in N. America.

It wasn’t the first time someone spoke in tongues in N. America. However, it was the first time that tongues was biblically identified as the evidence of having been baptized with the Holy Ghost in N. America - thus the birth of a movement - the Apostolic Faith Movement.

Because of Charles Parham’s dedication to the restoration of the apostles doctrine to Christianity - his dream became a reality, thus leading to the greatest move of God the world has seen since Acts chapter 2.

This is a short history of the Pentecostal Bible Conference that was held in Elton, Louisiana in 1915. It changed the landscape of Pentecostalism in both Louisiana and abroad. All of the Assembly of God ministers (except one) were re-baptized into the Name of Jesus Christ, and embraced the Oneness of God in Christ.
