Talent Search is a pre-college, TRiO program funded through a grant from the Department of Education.
Our office hours during the school year are Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. Our summer office hours are Monday through Thursday from 7am-5pm. We are also available by appointment if you need to meet with us outside of our office hours.

General information
Talent Search is a pre-college program for 6th through 12th graders. We go into our target schools and provide monthly workshops on various "college prep" topics for our students, based on their grade level and interest. Topics include study skills, test taking skills, writing skills, college admissions requirements and forms, financial aid information and money management skills. We also offer tutoring, job shadowing and visits to area colleges and cultural sites. The program is absolutely free to students in our target schools: Carl Junction, Carthage, Joplin, Riverton, Sarcoxie and Webb City.
