What gives you CONFIDENCE❓

👉🏻For me, it’s achieving my short term and long term goals, losing weight, building mental and physical strength, watching my health clients/coaches succeed, and seeing my friends and family get healthy.

💻I am doing 4 zoom sessions with Coach Burt. His confidence is inspiring! I’m learning ways to improve my self-confidence, which WILL have a positive affect on everyone around me.

As marching season comes to an end (for most) and we transition to concert season, a few thoughts:

1. Remember…the fact that we were able to have a marching season is a WIN for EVERYONE!

2. Remember…how much better your ensemble is playing now than in August.

3. Remember…your seniors have given 6-7 years of their life to your community, school, and program. THANK THEM DAILY!

4. Remember…to celebrate the “small” wins with the same enthusiasm as the “big” wins.

5. Remember…we are lucky to do what we love!

Written and designed to introduce young players to the fanfare style, this opening selection uses only the first five notes beginners learn. Limited ranges and notes allow the director to focus on teaching style without being hampered by technique. A great addition to young band performances.

Foundation Scholarships are available to all returning and new MSSU students. Over $1M annually is awarded from our generous donors. Students need to complete only one application for all of our Foundation Scholarships.

Students should apply by December 15, 2021, to be considered under the priority deadline for the 2022-2023 academic year.
