Global education starts with curiosity. We loved sharing a taste of Vietnamese culture through Folktales on Paper Waters as part of MSSU’s Theme Semester celebrating Vietnam. MSSU students helped make the experience even more meaningful by engaging with the children and sharing in their excitement and discovery. Thank you for joining us on campus!

Where could your MSSU story take you?

Meet Cheyenne Lasiter, a 2024 graduate of MSSU’s Dental Hygiene program.

"I am a registered dental hygienist in community health. I serve the dental needs of local and surrounding communities. I am also a team member of the newest community location in Lamar. I’m able to provide comprehensive exams, cleanings, fluoride and education to improve the oral health of my patients.

MSSU gave me the opportunity to learn about disparities that prevent access to dental health services and a hands-on experience of what it means to be a servant leader. The MSSU dental hygiene program has high standards and I am now able to share my knowledge and skills to help my patients achieve their oral health goals."
