Hang in there, Ambassadors - summer is coming soon! ☀️

If you have a summer internship lined up and you want it to count for credit towards your degree, be sure to email the Ministry Center at [email protected]. We will help answer any internship-related questions, make sure your internship meets all requirements for credit, send you the application, and get you registered for the internship course.

Note - if you are a Biblical Justice, Intercultural Studies, or Organizational Leadership major, contact the Intercultural Studies department for more details on internship registration.

Current OCC Students: Are you passionate about being a good friend? Do you want to invest in a group of 4-5 freshmen as they navigate their first year on campus? We would love for you to apply to be a 2022-2023 Life Group Leader!

The application deadline is Friday, April 1, so be sure to fill out the application before then to be considered. You can find the application linked in your student newsletter or by visiting occ.edu/lgleaderapp. We look forward to meeting our 2022-2023 Life Group Leaders!

Looking for a summer job? Are you passionate about working with youth? Come visit our Camps Expo this week in the Stu starting TODAY! New camps will be visiting each day, so be sure to stop by and talk to the representatives. Check the spreadsheet in your student newsletter for a full schedule of visiting camps.

Over the next two weeks, we will have around 20 ministries on campus to advertise their residency programs and internship opportunities. New ministries will be in the Student Center each day, so be sure to stop by and check out the opportunities they have available! Check your student newsletter for details.

Are you looking for summer job opportunities? Do you enjoy having fun and have a heart for working with students? Check out our Camps Expo! We will have nearly a dozen Christian summer camps on campus over the next two weeks to advertise their job openings for next summer. For a full list of the camps that will be visiting and the days they will be here, check out the spreadsheet linked in your student newsletter!

Are you passionate about making Jesus known? Don't miss our 2021 Missions Expo happening next week! Over a dozen organizations throughout the course of the week will set up booths in the Student Center to share about their missions opportunities, whether local or international. For a list of which organizations will be there each day, check out your student newsletter.

Want to go ahead and plan for after graduation, but don't know where to start? Create a Student Profile on our Ministry Openings website!

1) Visit occ.edu/ministryopenings.

2) Scroll down to the "Post Student or Alumni Profile" section.

3) Click "View Form," fill out the form, and wait for us to approve it for the website.

And voila - you have yourself a Student Profile for ministries to check out as they're looking to hire!

We're grateful for our Fall 2021 Kenosis Leaders!

Kenosis Leaders are OCC students who have volunteered to connect the students in their dorms with Christian Service opportunities in the Joplin area. They will have information on any new service opportunities that we hear about.
