We had such an amazing turnout for our Dia de Los Mu***os Fiesta today!! HUGE thank you to everyone that came out and all of the members that helped set up, brought supplies and snacks, and helped clean up! We are so proud to host this event and hope everyone enjoyed the cookies and sugar skulls, as well as the altar! Shout out to our sponsor Susana Liso who made the cookies and sugar skulls for us to decorate! We hope to host more cultural events in the future.

Remember to join us for MSSU Spanish club meetings, the first and fourth Monday of the month at 1pm in Kuhn Hall Room 201! There are no club dues and all MSSU students are welcome to join!

Student Clothing Drive/Giveaway is happening now! We are in room 122 in the Mayes Student Life Center next to McCormick Hall until 7pm today. We will be here from 9am to 1pm on Monday. We have women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing. Everything is free, so please take what you need.

Hello! So the officers and I were thinking of doing a virtual Baile Challenge with the club members. So for that, we will want you to submit a 15 second video of you dancing to your favorite Spanish song/Latin American dance style and send it to me directly on this app or on Group Me. I will be putting it together and posting it online/ from the Spanish socials just to give people an update on how the Spanish club is doing and that we’re still active! Since we can’t have a dance, this is an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate our culture. I’ll need the video by March 13th!
