Peabody Memorial Library is pleased to announce that Charlene Nelson and Michele Pollard will now be the Co-Directors of the library's Art in the Library program!

We are currently looking for artists from the Moosabec area to showcase their artwork for our next art exhibit.

Art turn in date is Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 10am-4pm.

A reception will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 1pm-3pm.

The exhibit will run through December 31, 2016.

Just wanted to update you all on the current fund raising events for the library that we desperately need some assistance with.
1. Mega Raffle - over $2000 in items to raffle, if you would like to help sell tickets, please give me a call, email, or stop by the library to pick up a ticket packet. Drawings will take place on Sunday, Sept. 18th.
2. Bike Maine Charging Station - I need approximately 15-20 volunteers to help run the charging station for Bike Maine on Sunday, Sept. 11th from 1-7pm at the Degenhardt property on Kelley's Point. I have an hourly sign up sheet so please let me know if you can come on down and help. The library could make around $500 ($1 for each device charged).
3. Support the Library Motorcycle Ride & BBQ - To be held at the library on Sunday, Sept. 18th (all day). I need people to help with set up, clean up, a grill or two along with a couple of grillers, pasta salads, garden salads, hot dogs, hot dog buns, burger buns, hamburger, chips, sodas, waters, etc. If you can lend a hand or make something for the BBQ please let us know asap.
