Gracepoint Christian Academy GCA is a private Christian school in Jonesboro, LA serving students from K5 through 12th grade. We are a Christian school for Christian families.

Gracepoint Christian Academy exists for the glory of God, the edification of His Church, and the evangelization of our community. We desire that all persons, namely the children entrusted to our care, know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, being rooted and grounded in God's Word, and living an overcoming, victorious Christian life. It is our desire to nurture, not replace, the role of the fam

ily and the church in the bringing up of a child in Christ-likeness. Gracepoint seeks the cooperation and active involvement of the family in the education and nurture of the specific needs of each individual child, as parents carry the biblical responsibility and role as primary educator of their children. "And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." (Luke 10:27) An essential aspect of our worship of God is to love Him with all of our mind. We aim to develop an atmosphere of academic excellence as the soul of each child is directed God-wards for the building up of Christ's Kingdom.

Students are currently enjoying an exciting period of learning and exploration, facilitated by various STEM activities tailored to foster curiosity and awe. Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Stewart's educational module on the butterfly life cycle for 1st and 2nd graders reached its culmination in today's release, which was eagerly awaited by the students. Our older students in 3rd through 6th grade have also been engaged in interactive STEM learning with LSU Agcenter, gaining insights into human health and associated career options. In another classroom innovation, Mrs. Lisa successfully hatched chicks using an incubator sourced from Jackson Parish Library. Appreciation is expressed for these educational experiences that enrich our students' learning journey.
