Blessed Sacrament Childrens and Youth Ministry Children's and Youth Ministry of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro, AR. We offer programming for youth in grades PrK4-12

We provide Children's Ministry Programming for children in grades PreK4-5th Grade. We us a systematic and
relational approach to teaching and experience the Catholic Faith with grade school children. Also included is Middle School Ministry to youth in grades 6-8. We use the EDGE Catholic Middle School Program. Our Middle School Ministry meets on Sunday nights while school is in session. We also provide Senior High Catholic Ministry to youth in grades 9-12. We use a mix of programs available to us for this ministry. They include Lifeteen, prayer, social justice teaching, scripture, catechism, morality etc. Senior High Youth meet in the parish hall on Wednesdays from 6-8:30pm while school is in session. We also provide Sacramental Preparation for Baptism, First Communion, Reconciliation, and Confirmation.

El 6 de octubre de 2026 será el último día para inscribirse en las clases de Formación Sacramental y de OCIC para el año escolar de educación religiosa. Las clases de OCIC están dirigidas a niños y jóvenes que no han sido bautizados y tienen 7 años o más. Las clases de Formación Sacramental son para niños y jóvenes bautizados que necesitan recibir la Primera Comunión y tienen 8 años o más. También se ofrecen clases de Formación Sacramental en español. Estas clases se imparten los martes.

El 7 de octubre de 2026 será el último día para inscribirse en las clases de formación en la fe para niños y jóvenes, desde el jardín de infancia hasta la escuela secundaria. Estas clases se imparten los miércoles. Los padres de niños que recibieron su Primera Comunión el pasado mes de abril deberían considerar inscribirlos en clases adicionales de educación religiosa que los acerquen a Jesús; todavía quedan muchas plazas disponibles para el tercer grado.

October 6, 2026, will be the LAST DAY TO REGISTER for Sacramental Formation and OCIC classes for the religious education school year. OCIC classes are for those children and youth who have not been baptized and have reached the age of 7. Sacramental Formation classes are for children and youth who have been baptized but need to receive First Holy Communion and are 8 years old or older. Sacramental Formation classes are also available in Spanish. These classes are held on Tuesdays.

October 7, 2026, will be the LAST DAY TO REGISTER for Faith Formation classes for children and youth for classes from Kindergarten to High School. These classes are held on Wednesdays. Parents of children who received First Holy Communion this past April should consider registering their children for additional religious education that brings them closer to Jesus; there are many openings in third grade still available.
