We have to give a little shoutout to our friends Douglas MacArthur Cyclones! We loved seeing how they’re keeping their next goal front and center with . Great ideas deserve to inspire more great ideas—and they definitely got our wheels (or maybe our Whirlwinds 😉) turning!

Last year, Annie Camp made BIG moves. D ➡️ C.
Now we’re ready to keep that momentum going.

Our next chapter has a name:

It’s not just about a letter. It’s about continuing to grow, setting high expectations, celebrating progress, and making every day of learning count.

Eighth grade students have been working to build background knowledge about the 1960s by visiting various stations to sample some of the sites and sounds of the decade as well as read about some of the most notable events of the era. They also brushed up on their geography of the Southwest to prepare for their novel study of The Outsiders.

There’s nothing sweeter than celebrating GROWTH! Mr. Murphy treated our amazing Annie Camp teachers and staff to cake and ice cream in recognition of the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that helped raise our School Report Card letter grade from a D to a C!
This accomplishment represents countless hours of planning, teaching, supporting students, collaborating, and refusing to settle. We are incredibly proud of the work happening at AC—and we’re just getting started!
