Math and Science GT students used their creativity by painting inspirational quotes and designs to brighten up the hallways.
This week we celebrate two incredible members of the Accelerate Jonesboro team as they begin new chapters in their lives soon. Mrs. Clayton is retiring and Mrs. Ramer is moving on to new adventures too.
These amazing ladies have been so much more than co-workers — they have been outstanding GT teachers, teammates, encouragers, and friends. Their creativity, passion for students, willingness to help, and constant flow of great ideas have helped shape and strengthen our program in countless ways.
Their impact on students, staff, and our Accelerate community will not be forgotten. While we will miss them greatly, we are so excited for what the future holds for each of them. Wishing you both nothing but happiness and success in the next chapter!

On Thursday, our Accelerated Learning Coaches joined 5th & 6th grade math teachers, Instructional Facilitators, and our elementary district math specialist to collaborate, plan, and build pacing guides for Honors Math and Accelerated Pathways for the upcoming school year!
The team also focused on using meaningful extensions within lessons to challenge students with deeper thinking, problem solving, and opportunities to extend learning beyond grade-level expectations.
We are excited to continue creating engaging, rigorous, and supportive math experiences for all students across Jonesboro Public Schools. Great things are ahead for accelerated learning!
