HWES is excited to offer an Honors Math course this year for a select group of our 6th grade students who demonstrated outstanding achievement in mathematics last school year!

Parents were invited to an informational meeting to learn more about the course expectations, curriculum, and to have their questions answered. We appreciate the families who joined us as we prepare our students for this exciting academic opportunity.

We are proud to have Mr. Caddy, our 6th grade math teacher, along with Mrs. Moore, our acceleration coach lead the charge. Their passion for mathematics and commitment to student success will help challenge and inspire our students.

The White House is looking for standout Arkansas student athletes ages 14-17 to compete in the 2026 Patriot Games — a national competition where students submit a short video, share their story, show their skills, and compete for $250,000 in scholarships. 💲💲

Finalists from across the country will head to the Games August 9-11, 2026, earning national recognition on the ESPN App and ESPN on ABC. 🏈🥊 If you know an Arkansas student with grit, character, talent, or an inspiring story, encourage them to apply.

Let the summer learning begin at Camp Ignite for some of our Accelerated Learning Coaches at ASMSA! After our opening activities, we visited Bricks & Minifigs for a lesson with Economics Arkansas!
