To make our Halloween performance even more fun, we'll be hosting a Costume Contest during the October 31 show!!!!!!!!!!

The winner will receive a Shrek-themed Swamp Basket featuring:

Last night Nettleton Theater traveled to Memphis to watch the High School Musical Theater Awards. Throughout the week, two of our students traveled to Memphis to participate in the HSMTA, spending the week rehearsing and preparing for the opening and closing numbers alongside so many talented performers.

Making history for Nettleton School District!

For the first time ever, two of our students are participating in the High School Musical Theater Awards opening and closing numbers!

We are so proud to see their talent, dedication, and love for theater represented on such a big stage.

Once upon a time, in a far far away theater program...

We are beyond excited to officially announce our next production: Shrek The Musical!

Get ready for a hilarious adventure filled with fairy tale creatures, big laughs, unforgettable music, and lots of layers. We cannot wait to bring this story to the stage and share it with all of you!

Welcome to the swamp!

This will be for grades 9th-12th. However, we will be looking for a YOUNG FIONA (3rd-6th grade) as well as a MIDDLE FIONA (7th-8th grade).
So if you know of someone who’d be interested, stay tuned for more audition info.

Auditions will be December 7th and 8th with callbacks on the 9th! 🎼🎭💚

ATTENTION NETTLETON JUNIOR HIGH:

Twelve junior high jurors must decide a case, but their task is complicated by clashing personalities and growing hunger. As tensions rise, one juror encourages the group to think carefully and look beyond assumptions. In the end, they must overcome their “hangry” impulses to reach a fair verdict.

You do not have to be in a theatre class to audition! This show is for grades 7 and 8.

This fun One Act will be directed AND designed by students for students!

Friday we will be announcing our final show of the season! Our spring musical!!

ATTENTION NETTLETON HIGH SCHOOL:

Check Please by Jonathan Rand follows a series of outrageous blind dates that go hilariously wrong. What starts as a simple dinner quickly turns chaotic as each new date brings an even stranger personality to the table. From awkward conversations to wildly unpredictable moments, the play captures the humor and discomfort of trying to find “the one.”

You do not have to be in a theatre class to audition!
This One Act is for grades 9-12.

PARENTS OF KIDDOS WHO ARE GOING TO BE AT NETTLETON JUNIOR HIGH NEXT YEAR:

Tell your kiddos to stop by the theatre booth during 6th grade Preview day May 13th! We will be revealing the FALL plays and they will be the first to know!

We will have QR codes for them to take with them to sign up for auditions.
Auditions for these shows will be August 25th at 3pm in the theatre room.

THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE IN A THEATRE CLASS TO AUDITION!
