NHS was truly spoiled all week during Teacher Appreciation Week! 💙🍎
A huge thank you to our Administration, Student Council, EAST, Amy Reed, our Counselors, First Community Bank, Families Inc, and Los Arcos for all the thoughtful treats and goodies throughout the week. Your kindness and support mean so much to our staff!

On Monday, May 4th, five members of the Nettleton High School Band traveled to Russellville to compete in the ASBOA State Solo & Ensemble Contest after qualifying at the regional level.

We are proud to recognize the following students for earning 1st Division Superior ratings and medals for their performances:

Cesar Montana – Trombone Solo
Dylan Brown, Brianna Smith, Joshua Lyles, and Joseph Carson – Saxophone Quartet
In addition, Dylan Brown earned a second medal for his Tenor Saxophone solo, receiving a 2nd Division Excellent rating.

Congratulations to these outstanding musicians for representing Nettleton with excellence!

🎶 The Nettleton High School Band took the stage in Searcy on April 16 for the ASBOA State 5A Concert Band Contest—and they delivered!

For the fifth year in a row since the contest’s return, our band earned Superior ratings. After steadily climbing the ranks (11th, 7th, 4th), and earning Grand Reserve Band last year, they’ve done it again—bringing home Grand Reserve Band (2nd place in Class 5A)! 👏

This honor reflects the hard work, discipline, and dedication our students bring every single day. Their commitment to excellence is more than a goal—it’s a tradition.

We are incredibly proud of these outstanding musical Raiders! 🎶
