NJHS would like to share some of our students' and teachers' academic successes from this past school year. The teachers and students have worked hard this year, and thanks to all that dedication and persistence, we were able to raise scores in several areas. We had a great school year and are looking forward to an even better one in 2026-2027!

Students in Mrs.Byrd's Creative Media classes just finished a Mock Trial in all her 8th-grade classes. Students had to prove or disprove a person's guilt or innocence of an aggravated arson and murder.
Now that court in class is over, students were selected to attend an actual Court day in downtown Jonesboro.
Students met prosecutors and defense attorneys along with Judge Ellington. They were briefed on court proceedings and did a question-and-answer session.
Special thanks to Katie Turner, County Prosecuting Attorney, for arranging this opportunity for our Nettleton students. We would like to send a special shout-out to Ms.Katie for all her assistance in making this day special for our Nettleton Junior High School students.

A special thanks to Megan Brown and Erica Parker and all the members of the HOPE FOUND foundation. The Hope Found organization has rescued over 186 victims since 2018.The ladies of distinction have donated 453 dollars this year to the Hope Found organization .
