Nettleton Public Schools was treated to breakfast by First Community Bank this morning. They even had a raffle, and some of our very own NJHS faculty members were lucky enough to win! Thank you to First Community Bank for all that they do, not just for NJHS, but for all Nettleton Schools!

NJHS is currently updating our schedules & rosters; due to this, students are not yet fully rostered in the ParentSquare program. If your student is entering the seventh (7th) grade, they probably have not yet had their ParentSquare account updated. As soon as it is updated, student and parent accounts will be updated to the current school year. Please continue to check Facebook and the school district's website for information.

Mrs. Theresa will be greatly missed by all of us here not only at NJHS, but the entire Nettleton School district. She was a wonderful person with a great personality and terrific sense of humor. NJHS sends its most heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. We'll miss you, friend, NJHS won't be the same without you.
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Theresa Jackson, a beloved custodian at Nettleton Junior High School.
For more than 12 years, Theresa was a cherished member of the Nettleton Public Schools family. She served our students, staff, and community with unwavering kindness, dedication, and a strong work ethic. More than keeping our school running, she made it a warmer, more welcoming place for everyone she encountered.
We remember Theresa as a beautiful soul who touched countless lives with her caring heart and gentle spirit. While her presence will be deeply missed, the impact she made on our Raider family will remain forever.
Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with her family, friends, coworkers, and all who knew and loved her during this difficult time.
Services will be held on Friday, July 3, at Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E. Nettleton Ave., Jonesboro, AR 72401). Public visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Rest in peace, Theresa. You will always be a part of the Raider family and will be greatly missed. ππ€

Our librarian, Mrs. King, recently joined other Nettleton library media specialists last week at the AAIM (Arkansas Association of Instructional Media) Conference. The professional development was hosted right here in Jonesboro, and participants had the opportunity to learn and collaborate with other media professionals across the state. π€π

NJHS would like to share some of our students' and teachers' academic successes from this past school year. The teachers and students have worked hard this year, and thanks to all that dedication and persistence, we were able to raise scores in several areas. We had a great school year and are looking forward to an even better one in 2026-2027!
